My Stash, I have some cards in My Stash!!!

I spent the day yesterday with a friend from my Mad Scrapper days. While she was working on a Bridal Shower album I got to playing with these....new Sweet Treats dies from MFT. I was surprised when they arrive a couple of weeks ago at their size, a little smaller than I pictured in my head. That said, they are so so cute! The ice cream cone even embosses as you run it through to cut! I just messed around and came up with these A6 sized cards to put in my stash, My Stash!...that's unheard of, I'm usually making a card the day of someone's birthday! I really don't have a stash, although now I have six dear little cards to start it off! I'm chuffed! And I still have the Popsicle/Ice Lolly due to play with...maybe later, although I cannot fib I have Christmas ideas floating around my brain waiting to be created....did I really say Christmas? Sorry, but you know there is only 209 days to go according to my Christmas Elf Countdown!!!...

Have a Fun Weekend, it's going to be a 'warm' one here in Arizona so the weather man tells me, TRIPLE digits!!! May have to hibernate in my crafty lil cave and see what mischief I can get up to!

I LOVE THESE PENS!!!!

I could hug my Mailman!.....if only he knew how much joy he brings into my world when he delivers packages containing little bits of happy like these......

These are Akashiya Sai Watercolor Pens. I want the Kuretake Clean Color watercolor pens, but before getting into that investment I thought I'd try these out and if I liked them then I would get the clean color pens when they are more readily available.....they are like gold dust at the moment!!! I LOVE these pens! I've only had a really quick play with them. Ignore my blotchy image, I have to retrain myself to use my water brush again! That aside, I just love how the inks stay so vibrant when water is added to them, no wishy washy colors here! You can blend the colors to create your own shades too. Check out Kristina Werner's YouTube video on these pens, I got mine from Jet Pens on the Internet, they were $34.50 for a set of 20 with FREE shipping! I ordered them Monday and I had them in my sticky little mitts by Friday!!! I will have more of a play over the next day or two and let you know how it goes.

Hmmm....technology got the better of me!

The post for my Kids Classes posted below my June classes so you'll have to scroll down to see it. I drafted this post to get a head, but as I did that on Monday before my June post technology has posted it in the order it was created!...who knew? Not me that's for sure, that's something to keep in mind if I decide to draft posts in future! Have a fun rest of the week, we're going to be a little cooler again here in Arizona...Nice!

June....half a year gone already!?!?!!!....Classes

June classes already, where did the time go??? It's crazy, the next thing you know it will be....Christmas!!!....I can't wait!!! Ok, let's not get ahead of ourselves. I have two classes on the calendar for June the first on being my usual Every Day Cards, Monday June 8th 10:30 - 1:30. This class has alsorts of things going on, using a fun line of paper by Imaginesce. Give Scraps of Love in Peoria a call if you like to take this class or get a kit....

Next up is a class I came up with using the cute You Gnome Me stamps by Birdie Brown from MFT. These stamps are adorable as are all the stamps by this artist....I collect them and RARELY ink them!!! Monday June 22nd for this one, usual time 10:30 - 1:30 give Scraps of Love a call to secure your class spot or kit.....

I have some Kids Classes scheduled for June and July, I'll be back with the info on those tomorrow...looks like it's going to be a busy summer!

Summer 2015 Kids Classes

My goodness it's that time again....SUMMER!!!....I have a few classes on the calendar at Scraps of Love in Peoria to keep your little peeps entertained for a while! Call the store to sign them up, or reserve a kit if they can't make it to class. First up is this little Mini Album in a crayon box....Wednesday June 17th from 10:30 - Noon

Next up on Wednesday June 24th, 10:30 - Noon is this cute set of cards and box to keep them in. Again give the store a call if you have any Kids that would like to take this class....

Then onto July, to start with I have this cute Mini Summer Album using Doodlebug papers....who doesn't love Doodlebug?!?.... Wednesday July 8th 10:30 - Noon for this little happy. Give the store a call you sign up....

And last but not least, a little flip Polaroid Mini Album to keep all those happy pics in from the summer!

Wednesday July 15th 10:30 - Noon, don't forget to call the store if you have kids interested in taking the class....

Almost there...May Classes...

This class....my Splat Class as it's been called is on Tuesday May 27th from 10:30 - 1:30 We'll be making six cards, they'll be quick and simple as all the Splat stamping will already be done, so just a little bit of frou frouing and you'll have a set of cards either to gift or put into your stash!....

My first class in May used some paper bags by Lawn Fawn as pockets, just another twist to keep it a little different! They were fun to make and so cute when they were finished, you may see this idea crop up again in the not so distant future!!!.....

I'll be back tomorrow all up to date with my upcoming June classes.....Phew!  We made it, thanks for sticking with me! I just have to take good care of this little happy space and keep up with the posts!!!

How long's it been?!?!?

Shocking! It's been 4 months since I posted anything on my poor neglected blog. I post frequently on my Face Book page but somehow my blog gets forgotten. That is until I realize just how much time has gone by since my last visit!!! So, I will try to update this happy little space with my past class pics and then move forward to the present and try my hardest to keep it that way!!! I'm going to do several smaller posts so that you don't doze off halfway through!
