These happies arrived SATURDAY!!! I wanna play....life keeps interrupting!!!!

We've had so much rain here in Arizona the last couple of days I keep expecting to see my horses wearing water wings!!! I know we need it, and it's good that we're getting it but oh the Mud!!!! Ok, made this little happy while listening to the rain, I used an MFT card sketch for the front, my version is ever so slightly different! I then made the whole thing into an easel card....No.1 of the year for my stash!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!

I taught my first class of the year yesterday and it seemed like forever since I'd seen my ladies....Almost a month since my last one! I was holed up in my lovely room for part of that time just hanging out and playing!

Amongst other little happies I came up with two classes for February! First is a little Drawer Box filled with Thank You cards....using stamps, dies and punches from my stash, some new ones and some not so new ones....we have them, we should use them, right?!?!? The next one is a set of 'Everyday' happies using the cute set of Elephant stamps by MFT...another Birdie Brown set!!!...from their December release. They are so fun to work with! No coloring involved in this class if you're wondering, it's all done for you!!!

Class Number 2....

Here is my second class for January 2016.....it still seems too soon to be writing 2016.  As I've said before, who knows where 2015 has gone!!!!! Monday January 18th, 10:30 - 1:30. Give Scraps of Love in Peoria a call to secure your class spot or kit.....

Li'l Sweeties....

How sweet are these Li'l Elephants from MFT?!?!?!....

It's cold, grey and wet here in Arizona, just the excuse I need for spending a little happy time in my work room....not that I need an excuse!!!! I colored up this sweet little kitty by Stamping Bella, she's from their new 'Stuffie' collection, I have a few and adore them all! Those scalloped shapes are part of a sets by Tonic Studios, I just love how small those scallops are, they are definitely in my favorites pile!!!.....

A New Year a New Class

I taught my last class of 2015 this morning! I actually took this first class of 2016 into the store last week, but with all the crazy that goes with this time of year and a little trip out of town I forgot (shame on me) to post them!!! January 4th 10:30 - 1:30 at Scraps of Love in Peoria, give them a call or visit the store to sign up for your spot in class or a kit if you can't make it. 2016, a New Year, wow, where'd this one go?!?!?!?.....

The above 'card' is made out of a paper bag. It has two pockets that have

a small tag that you can put a gift card in and a large tag that you can either

put a photo on or write a nice note.
