Who's a Happy Camper?

The Hubby, the Pups and I are heading out of town in a few weeks, we're going to take our first RV trip! I had the idea that if I pre-made my little album then there would be no excuses about getting those pics documented when I get back!! This Doodlebug line of paper was perfect! It's so adorable....I just love the little caravans!!! Each page is a pocket and they all have tags in them, a mini  waterfall page at the back makes for loads of room for all those pics I'll be taking. Right!?!?....

September Classes

I have two classes on the calendar for September. Firstly a  waterfall album, this is a simple album with space for lots of pictures/journaling  that can be changed up for any occasion. You'll create the whole album from chipboard to finished pretty!...the inspiration for this little pretty comes from Ginger at My Sisters Scrapper. Monday  September 8th 10:30 - 1:30......

Next is my Every Day card class, Friday September 19th 10:30 - 1:30 for this one....

Bits of paper everywhere.....

No I haven't been swept away buy the recent rain storms, or been off taking a nap!...I've been in my workroom cutting up my own storm!....prep for an up coming class and playing with the new Doodlebug halloween papers to come up with samples for ANOTHER class! This one won't be until the beginning of October though!....here's a little sneaky peek, it's on the calendar at Scraps of Love in Peoria Monday October 6th to be precise. Personal challenge #3

I used the grand nestabillities dies by spellbinders that have sat in my stash unused for too many years to create this quick and easy easel card. I really like the way the shape turned out!....it makes a change from my usual round, square or rectangle easel cards!!! I used my Silhouette Cameo.....gotta love the silhouette....to do the strawberries, and various punches to do the flowers. Fast and simple can't be bad!....

Now just trying to decide what to do with the Sizzix die I have left to play with in this challenge!

Self challenge....project #2

Here's the project I came up with using one of the Cosmo Cricket mason jar lids that I've had for at least 2 years! All I have to do now is add a couple of pictures of my pups and it's good to go!!! Now that I've done this one I have several ideas buzzing around my head for a couple of different ones!!!.....I think I even see a snowman somewhere in there!!! 

Working on project #3 already!....I'm enjoying playing with my 'new' 'old' toys!!!

Challenge to Myself....Sample #1

Here is a card using the stamp set from Verve....the one I've owned for 3 years and never inked! They inked beautifully by the way, crisp clean images first time around! Now just have to remember to use them more often!!!.....

I'm already working on my next challenge!.....

It's AMAZING what you find when you have a clear out!...

I've been having a bit of a tidy up in my work room for the last couple of weeks, I've found all sorts of new product that has NEVER been used....and lots of older stuff that I used and used when I bought it but has since been forgotten, taken over by that 'new unused stuff'!!!! I'm setting myself a challenge!....I'm going to dig out the stuff I once loved, and crack open the packages on the unused stuff and get to playin' and see what I come up with!!! My first challenge is these four NEVER used items.... Let the fun begin, watch this space!!!

Another New Class for August.....

Well here's the finished project! A Cute box filled with six cards.
